# If a payment fails

> You get 7 days and repeated warnings to update the card in Stripe before job creation switches off.

If a subscription charge fails, you'll see a banner on your Jobs page and an alert on the Billing page, and the account admin gets an immediate email plus reminders as the grace period counts down. You have **7 days** to update your payment method before **Create New Job** is disabled.

1. Go to **Settings → Billing** and select **Manage Payment**.
2. Update your card in the Stripe portal and return to TrueRestore.
3. The failed invoice retries automatically, and the banner clears — no need to reload the app.
