# Merging duplicates and tracking activity

> Combine two records into one, log calls and meetings against a contact, and track deals through a pipeline.

If two records turn out to be the same person or company, merge them from either record's menu — TrueRestore combines their history and job links into one. You can also log an **Activity** (a call, meeting, email, or note) against any contact to keep a running history, and — if your company uses it — track sales opportunities through a simple pipeline with stages, deal amount, and probability.
