# Saving a job for offline use

> Your 15 latest jobs download on their own, and an explicit save keeps a specific job on the device.

Your 15 most recently updated jobs download automatically so they're ready before you lose signal. To be sure a specific job stays available beyond that, save it explicitly from the job screen — its status shows as **Online only**, **Available offline**, **Update available** (new media hasn't downloaded yet), or downloading with a live percentage. Free up space by **offloading** a saved job you no longer need on-device.

* A job you explicitly save stays available with no cap on how much media it holds, and it's never auto-offloaded to make room for something else.
* Jobs that are only auto-downloaded (not explicitly saved) are capped at 500 media items each, to keep storage in check.
* There's no on-screen storage size in megabytes — just the completion percentage — since an accurate size estimate turned out to be more misleading than helpful, so don't worry if you can't see exactly how much space a job takes.
