# Signing in and resetting your password

> Set a permanent password after your temporary one, and recover access from the Forgot password link.

TrueRestore accounts use an email address and password — there is currently no single sign-on option.

1. Open the app and enter the email and password your admin set up for you.
2. If you were just invited, you'll receive an email with a temporary password. Sign in with it, then set a permanent password when prompted.
3. Forgot your password? Select **Forgot password** on the sign-in screen, enter your email, and follow the reset link that's emailed to you.

  If you're re-invited to your account after being deactivated, you'll see a message confirming new credentials were emailed — use those instead of your old password.
