# Using codeless equipment tracking

> Enter a daily count per equipment type on a location's calendar, with shortcuts to copy the previous day.

Codeless tracking logs how much equipment of each type was running in a location on a given day — no individual serial numbers involved.

1. Open a location's equipment calendar (from its Copilot Equipment card on mobile, or the Equipment tab on web).
2. Pick a day, then enter the count for each equipment type — e.g. 3 dehumidifiers, 2 air movers.
3. Save. That day's counts become the location's official log for that date.

A few shortcuts make daily logging fast:

* **Use last known** — copies the previous logged day's counts forward.
* **Mark all removed** — zeroes out every count for the day, e.g. once equipment is pulled.
* **Carry over** — fills a gap by repeating a prior day's log across the days in between.

If you edit a day that has later days already logged, TrueRestore asks whether to apply the change going forward or just to that single day (**Propagate Edit**). Manage your equipment type catalog — the list of dehumidifier, air mover, air scrubber, and miscellaneous models available to log — under **Settings → Codeless Models**.
