# Voice mode and limitations

Switch to voice mode to speak your question and hear Ripple's answer read back in real time — useful when your hands are full on-site. Every voice exchange also lands in the text transcript, so nothing is lost if you switch back to typing.

To keep things fast and fair for everyone, Ripple has built-in usage limits: 30 messages per person per hour, and a company-wide cap per day. If you hit a limit, Ripple tells you plainly and suggests trying again shortly rather than failing silently — an admin can raise the company-wide limit if your team consistently needs more.
