Anything you capture is saved on your phone first and uploads when you have a connection. Until it has uploaded, your phone holds the only copy. Logging out or deleting the app clears what’s stored on the phone, so unsent photos, readings, and scans can be lost.
Don’t log out, uninstall, or reinstall TrueRestore while anything is still waiting to upload — including to fix a freeze or a sync problem.

Check first

  1. Tap the gear icon in the bottom bar and select Offline Data, or tap the Sync button at the top right of a job and open Offline data from there.
  2. Confirm the screen shows All data synced.
  3. If it doesn’t, connect to a strong Wi-Fi network, keep TrueRestore open, and select Sync now. See A photo or reading seems stuck syncing if it doesn’t clear.
  4. Only then log out, reinstall, or move to a new device.
If you log out while items are still waiting, TrueRestore tells you how many would be lost and lets you cancel — or, when you’re online, sync first. Choose one of those unless you’re sure the items don’t matter.

Why not log out to force a sync?

Logging out doesn’t push anything up — it clears the phone’s copy of whatever hasn’t uploaded yet. Sync now on the Offline Data screen is the safe way to send everything.

Common situations

Not sure whether something is safe to remove? Leave the app installed and contact Support with your job number and device — see What to send Support about a mobile issue. Support can check what has reached the server.
