Find your version
Tap the gear icon in the bottom bar to open your profile and settings, then scroll to the bottom. You’ll see your TrueRestore version, with the build number in brackets after it. This is separate from your phone’s operating system version. To find that, go to Settings → General → About on iPhone or iPad, or Settings → About phone on Android. When Support asks for your version, send the full line including the build number, plus your device model and operating system version. See What to send Support about a mobile issue.Update TrueRestore
Open the App Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android), search for TrueRestore, and select Update if it’s available. Some fixes and features only exist in newer releases, so updating is a good first step when something isn’t working. Don’t install an older version unless Support tells you to. Updating keeps work that’s waiting to upload, but if you can, let it finish uploading first. Don’t uninstall and reinstall as a first step. See Before you log out, reinstall, or change devices. When TrueRestore asks you to update
- Please Update is a reminder. Select OK and keep working, but update soon.
- Update Required, or a screen saying you’re using an unsupported version, means you need to update to keep using TrueRestore.
- Check your installed version as described above.
- Close and reopen the App Store or Google Play, and refresh its list of updates.
- Restart your device.
- Make sure you’re signed into the same store account you installed TrueRestore from.
- If there’s still no update, contact Support with your version, device model, and operating system version.
