Moving and duplicating moisture maps is done in the web app.

Move a map

Use this when a map was created in the wrong room or on the wrong job.
  1. In the web app, open the job and go to the Maps tab.
  2. Open the menu on the moisture map and select Move map. (You can also select Move Map from the map’s menu while viewing a room’s readings.)
  3. Choose the Job and the Location to move it to, then select Move.
When a map moves:
  • Its points and readings go with it. Don’t re-enter them.
  • It no longer appears in its old room.
  • If you move it to another job and that job doesn’t already have the map’s floor plan, a copy of the floor plan is added to that job. The original floor plan stays where it was.
Moved a map by mistake? Use Move map again to send it back. Its readings travel with it.

Duplicate a map

Use this to start a fresh map on another job from the same floor plan and point layout.
  1. On the Maps tab, open the menu on the moisture map and select Duplicate map.
  2. Enter a Name for the copy, then choose the Job and Location for it. A duplicate always goes to a different job.
  3. Select Duplicate.
The copy keeps the point positions, point names, and dry goals, but not the readings. Readings stay on the original map, so log new readings on the copy.

Is my map on the wrong floor plan?

A moisture map stays on the floor plan it was created on, and you can’t switch it to a different plan. If it’s on the wrong plan, create a new map on the right plan on mobile (see Adding moisture points and material readings). If you’re not sure what to do, contact Support with the job code and the room or map name before you re-enter anything, so readings don’t end up split across maps.
