Select New Job and work through the four-step wizard:
  1. Client — Residential or Commercial property (Commercial requires a company name, up to 100 characters). Enter the client’s first and last name, or link an existing contact/company, plus at least one of email or phone (both are fine too).
  2. Job details & property — job type (required), plus optional TPA, referring party, and your customer’s own job/work order number. The property address needs a street address, city, a 2-letter state abbreviation, and a ZIP code (5-digit or ZIP+4); insurance carrier, policy number, claim number, and year built are all optional.
  3. Damage — the primary damage type is required (your admin’s configured list — see Job codes and preferred job codes); a secondary damage type, affected rooms, and a free-text description are optional. The date of loss is required; start date, first-visited date, and end date are optional, though an end date must fall after the start date.
  4. Team — assign a Project Lead (required), and optionally a Lead Technician and Administrator.
Select Create Job to finish. The job gets a unique job code and appears immediately in your Jobs list for every team member with access.
The wizard doesn’t save a draft as you go — if you navigate away before selecting Create Job, you’ll need to start over. Plan to complete it in one sitting. On mobile, if a spotty connection makes you tap Create Job more than once, TrueRestore recognizes the repeat and won’t create a second job.
New jobs can’t be created while your company’s subscription payment is past due. See If a payment fails.
